| I was looking on tnvc.com at refocusing device and noticed three different ones. What is the recommended device? What do I need to know? |

I had a Universal Refocus Ring and didn't care for it.
When mounted, the RFR precluded the use of several other attachments and some uses of the PVS-14. Further and more important to me was that the focus distance with the lens down was about dashboard distance. What I want quick-focused is what is at my feet. So it was of no use to me. I sold it. |

Butler creek flipup cap with a 4mm-8mm sized hole drilled into the center. Or you can pull the projectile from a 5.56 or 7.62 round, heat the projectile up and melt the hole. Save a hundred bucks (or two hundred for binos!), see if you like it. This. I've also found I have pretty good luck making a ring with my pointer finger and thumb (like an "OK" sign) and using that to refocus on an object closer to me. |

I tried to do the "OK" method, but found it was easier to just focus my damn PVS14. Guess i'm not operator enough Lol keep trying, it took me a little bit but now it's second nature. You have to make a much smaller aperture than you would think. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
