I want to mount a Surefire double switch
On the left rail but above it at a 45 degree angle. I can use 2 of these https://www.gearsector.com/view/product/271/ for a total added weight of 2.6 oz; or I can use one of these two Unity Tactical hubs: http://www.unitytactical.com/shop/vtac-micro-hub/ 0.6 oz Or http://www.unitytactical.com/shop/fusionhub/ 0.8 oz Plus One of these http://www.unitytactical.com/shop/fusion-offset-short/ 0.35 oz Or http://www.unitytactical.com/shop/fusion-ext/ 0.45 oz Can anyone offer advice? |

Are you saying you cut the part of the surefire switch that grabs the rails? Interesting idea! Quoted:

What I've done in the past is cut down the rail grabbers and use velcro backing to put it in the offset position. Are you saying you cut the part of the surefire switch that grabs the rails? Interesting idea! Yup so the back is flat. |

Interesting idea! Currently the best way to do it. The new Unity tactical switch might change that, but those aren't really out in the wild yet. |
