The other day my father handed me a pelican case that had an ATN ThOR 320 4.5x thermal scope out of the blue. Said he got a good deal on a dozen of them and wanted to share. Of course I was more than happy to take it off his hands as it looked like it could be of use for low light hunting (feral hogs and such).
The issue that I seem to have is that I don't know what I can do with it! I have an AR-15, M1A in an EBR chassis, and a Rem 700 in .308 flavor. The AR-15 has an EOTech holosight and the M1A and Rem 700 both have decent Bushnell glass. Does anyone have one of these thermal scopes and if so what do you have it mounted on? Should I bother changing out the glass on the 700 or stick it on the AR-15? |

Tell ya what...I'll take it off your hands and properly dispose of it for $300.
