Is this a pretty good IR illuminator?  Or are they better ones for a decent price?

Thanks!

Bang for your buck I don't think it can be beat. I actually prefer the WML indoors over any other light.

If you're familiar with LED lights, they are very bright, have a wide spread, and have very limited range.

I'd say it has 40-50m illumination range.

Well I have a Surefire universal weapon light and I could get a IR filter cover for that. They are pretty close to the same price and the inforce looks a lot smaller.

This!!! I just got my 2nd WML in the mail today. They are great little lights if you use them for what they are good at. (Shorter distances ~50-75 yds). I have one on my helmet and one on my MK18. I also have a surefire m952v and it is definitely more powerful than the WML, but it's too much ir illumination to use indoors. Ymmv.

I have a couple of them and they are great for indoors. Not bad for outside if you are only trying to light up 25-30 yds away.

Does anyone have any pictures of this light in use?

Definitely a great light for CQB-type usage.

I mount it on the under rail of my suppressed Ruger 22/45.  Aimpoint Micro T1 on top.  Perfect for evil critters in my rural neighborhood.  Most of the time when the dog barks at night, I just use the white light and T1 for good shooting out to 25+ yards.  When I get serious and sneak around with the NV gear on, its also good to 25+.  I do have a good flashlight and a Torch for positive ident either way if needed.

Not fun to be a skunk or coon or feral cat around my AO.

I took a few photos with the potato phone. Photos through NV never really do it justice. It looks much better than these photos show. The camera made it look darker on the edges when the light was on, but it didn't look like that in person. There was a good bit of ambient light out tonight. The cloud cover was reflecting the light from town 5 miles away.

House is about 40 yards away.
Just the PVS14

With Inforce WML:

Brush about 15 yards away

Thanks for the pictures. I wish that light was just a tad brighter as my shots are around 90-150 yards. Be good light for my sbr though.

That is what I use the Inforce on with a CT IR laser. Great for indoors and good for lighting up nearby stuff when outside.

The Torch Pro is on my "outdoor" NV rifle and it will light up 100yd's easily.
