So I just got a DBAL-D2 from TNVC. I mounted it 12 o'clock on my KAC rail system, and from the stern, it looks like everything is lined up right. From the bow, however, the whole thing appears canted radically high on the ejection port side.
I'm thinking it's probably an optical illusion from the size of the illuminator housing (on the right viewed from the bow), as well as my aimpoint covers having to be rotated at odd angles(to the left, viewed from the bow) to accommodate the unit. Thanks in advance for any help. ETA: the stern is the ass-end of the rifle and the bow is the muzzle end. To avoid confusion. |
