| I've been seeing a whole range of prices for 3x PVS 7/14 magnifiers. Are there differences or things I should be looking for when contemplating a purchase of one of these? |

As long as it is a milspec lens the difference is non existent or minimal. These lenses were sold in bulk surplus so that is why you see many for sale on eBay. At one time I had an entire case of sandbox milspec 3X lenses. Problem is the Chinese now make them and the glass is not even close to the milspec ones. The Chinese fakes are getting very good. I used to be able to spot them easily and now it is much harder unless I look through it.Many are true milspec lenses but some are not. Buy from a dealer to be sure or gamble and buy used. |
