Anybody have any experience with any of their products? Do they actually make their own tubes or do they contract out to Litton or ITT? |
| Nait has been around a LONG time. Only two people in the US make tubes. ITT and L3. This said some will assemble components and pot them. AEO, Nait and a few others have done this. Nait was real popular back in the Gen 2 days with all their innovative housings designed to use US tubes. They catered to the LEO market and civvy's. |

Many know I purchased my first ever work use NV device from them back on the EARLY 90's for use on surveillance details. The NVPS-10 was a great little C-Mount lens unit. In my garage I still have my hard case that includes an old (state of the art at the time) 8mm Panasonic video recorder along with a Sony 8mm flip up monitor/recorder. I used to attach the NAIT unit out in front of the Panasonic. Good stuf.... Vic |

NAIT contracts L3 these days for thinfilm gated tubes.
Their tubes are marked IMAGE INTENSIFIER NIGHT VISION CAGE: 1RJT7 See link |
| My first NV buy was a NVPS-10 45lp/m,ngen 3 state of the art back then most commerical systems weren 36lp/mm gen 3 tubed at the time. I later bought a NAIT gen2 python and gen3 NAIT Viper riflescopes . They lasted many years before I sold them to upgrade never had any issues with them. |
