TNVC is now a dealer for EOG (Explosive Ops Gear) NVG Helmet Counterweights! The EOG Counterweights come in several versions. Each one is constructed from 1000 Denier Cordura for maximum durability. EOG Counterweight System 
The EOG NVG Counter Weight System is fully adjustable to suit mission specific goggles. Different NVGs require different amounts of weight to counterbalance. The NVG Counterweight System is a purpose-built pouch that attaches to the back of a helmet via hook and loop. It uses a series of specially-forged steel weight plates to add or subtract weight for a fully customizable solution. A lightweight monocular is balanced with a single plate, most binocular systems (F4949, AN/PVS-15A, BNVDG) are balanced with two plates. The third plate is required with heavier NVG’s like the AN/PVS-21 and LUCIE NVG. The pouch is built from 1000D Cordura Nylon for a long life in the field and features a generous patch of pile tape on the outside for attaching IFF and patches. EOG Counterweight System Short Set

Developed from feedback by end users that wanted an even lower-profile solution, the Short Set provides the same customizable features in a smaller package. The balance is less weight than the standard model. We have found the EOG NVG Counterweight System Short Set to be an ideal solution for adding comfort and reducing neck strain when running NVG’s for long periods of time. The large surface of pile tape on the outside allows the flap to cinch down tight regardless of the number of weight plates added. This insures no noise from plates clanking loosely together. The specially-forged plates are very low profile and add weight over a larger surface rather than stacking mass on the back of the helmet. This is a tremendous help in keeping a low profile helmet when it is easy to get carried away with adding accessories and bulk. EOG Low Profile Counterweight 
The EOG Low Profile Counterweight is a long, thin pouch of Cordura Nylon that houses six flexible lead weights that form to any helmet surface. The pouch has a hook/loop closure that allows weights to be added or removed to tailor the weight for the mission. The weights themselves, feel more like plastic than lead, and do not make noise. The size of the Low Profile Counterweight is ideal for attaching along rear bottom edge of the helmet, helping to pull the helmet back and down. EOG Counterweight 
The NVG Counterweight from Explosive Ops Gear is currently in use by several U.S. Military Special Operations Units. It is a 1 lb. lead shot weight bag that attaches to the back of a helmet via hook/loop. The bag is sewn from two layers of heavy duty 1000D Cordura Nylon with heavy duty thread that seals in the lead shot. This simple counterweight attaches to pile tape on the back of a helmet. The outer surface of the NVG Counterweight has pile tape as well for attaching IFF devices and patches. The EOG NVG Counterweight is ideal for any type of helmet. By nature, it has some flex, so it will mold to any surface shape. If more weight is needed, a second NVG Counterweight can be added. Please note: The EOG NVG Counterweight contains lead. So, if you are pregnant or expect to become pregnant, we recommend not using this product. Then again, if you are pregnant or expect to become pregnant, you probably shouldn’t be in combat situations to begin with… EOG Mini Admin/ Battery Pouch 
The EOG Mini Admin/ Battery Pouch is a tiny and versatile addition to an operator’s kit. It is designed to hold 6x AA batteries for convenient carry. The pouch is a simple design with hook Velcro sewn on the back for attachment anywhere. It works great as a simple counterweight on the back of a helmet or can be placed on the sleeve of a combat uniform. It is also perfectly sized for small miscellaneous kit such as safety pins, meds, ID cards, survival kit, etc. The outside pouch flap has a section of pile tape for attaching patches and IFF devices. www.TNVC.com |
