I'm going to be running a comp m4, its in the mail, it comes with a factory mount probably the twist mount... not the cool twist mount the cheap twist mount. What is a good pick to use to mount my 14 behind the comp m4. I had a usgi mount, well i have one, but i slammed my charging handle on the screw while the 14 was off and bent the screw in into such a position the mount is no longer good.... e-gads. Would a larue, TNV twsitmount or another usgi mount work best?

I'm looking to get proper alignment behind the comp4 while also be able to use my helmet mount, im running a peq2 if it matters. I might be willing to buy new mounts for the comp m4 and the pvs14 but for now i want to focus on the pvs14 mount. I'm too poor for BUIS so co-witness is not currently an issue.

I'm a big fan of the PRI mount, as it has the most adjustabiility and is bombproof.
I have even replaced the ARMS base with a LaRue.
But, there is a large aray of mounts on the market, and it really depends on what else you will be using the 14 with.
Talk to Victor and/or Chip at TNVC, they will help you sort through your options and get what's best for your setup.
With the PEQ, you'll probably decide to go helmet mount anyway, but the weapon mount is a great option.

Your CompM4 won't come with a twistmount because the twistmount won't work for the M4.  The AP TwistMount is for the 3x Magnifier.  Edwinn has a good point with the PRI M69, but you can see it is expensive and heavy.  It costs even more if you want to swap out the ARMS mount for the LT.  But, it is a very good mount.  Of course, I'm biased to our TM14, but then again, we designed it to be the most versatile, lightest weight, low profile mounting solution on the market.  LT makes good stuff, but their PVS14 mount is bulky and heavy.  If you want to go from a head to weapon mount, you will have some issues with that thing hanging off the front unless you take the 14 out of the LT mount.
