[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PVS 22

I have an oportunity to buy a used (3rd owner active militarry) PVS 22. Its in good condition and has had virtually no use by this owner. It comes with a quick disconnect mount for a pictinny rail. He is asking $4000 for this unit, is this a good deal? I may be able to get it for $3500, is this too good a deal to pass up? I am not real knowledgable about NV, how can I but a used unit and avoid getting screwed?

It sounds like a too good to be true deal if you ask me.

They normally sell for 7-8k
