Looking to upgrade my bump to something with ballistic protection. Currently using a Team Wendy *spit* Exfil. Recommendations? PVS14 mounted on a Wilcox G24, as currently configured. Would like to integrate earpro.

New 3M ultra light looks pretty nice and a bit cheaper than the other offerings I think.

Riser, brah.

I was in the same boat (and many here even saw me hack up a Base Jump to get there) until I saw the light (dark?), and all of my "headspace" issues went away.

I've gone higher and higher and higher with optic mount height. Waiting on the kac redbackone mounts to come back in stock. On the waiting list. Once I have that I'll have the optimal 14.5 inch 24 hour gun I've been putting together over the last couple years.

Always love your posts augee

Just installed the 4D Tactical Zero G Deluxe pads in my MTEK helmet. The MTEK stock pads were pretty comfortable but they don’t hold a candle to these pads! The helmet (while comfortable before) is immensely more comfortable and just feels better all over. My head size is on the upper end of the limit for MTEK helmets and I would get slight pressure on two spots on the back bottom area of where the helmet sat, but with these pads that is completely gone. TNVC and others were correct in saying they felt like a big ol pair of boobs. They are totally worth the money.

PVS-14 came in today, I cannot wait to play with it tonight! I did play with it a little bit in my bathroom (which is almost pitch black) and I was very impressed.

It is a WP tube and the specs are:

Photocathode Sensitivity: 2731
EBI: 1.3
SNR: 34.2
Resolution: 72 lp/mm
Halo: 0.7

And as far as I can see so far and based on the sheet, there are no spots in any of the three zones.

Thanks TNVC

Finally got my second mum14a housing and a couple tubes. The duals are nice and it’s cool to be able to pass one off to friends without NVGs. The bridge works nicely and allows interpupillary distance adjustment. Need a counterweight pretty desperately now. I can also see the value of a mount like the invg or Wilcox units that flip straight up. The duals on the rhino II in the raised position is pretty awkward but it’ll work for a guy like me.

Edit: imgur links Now working.

Nice setup! The photos show up to team members (users who pay the membership). When you are new the photos only show up to team members for the first 50 posts. We are able to approve them to make sure someone didn't create and account to spam porn or whatever. If you get a team membership the photos will show up to everyone right away.

Team Wendy Lid
TNVC PVS-14
Comtac 3s
etc

I know, the mount is trash. I'm getting a G24 ad dovetail J arm in the near future.

Rifle setup is pretty simple. OTAL Laser and Surefire 600V. I can see through the MRO on the riser through the NOD, so it's staying that high up.

I bought the unity Mark’s first and ended up ordering the ARCs the day the Mark’s arrived. IMO having the ability to click them out for some air and just the ARC’s overall movement outweighs the rail space you save with the Marks. And the bolts on the Marks kept loosening up on me when I would rotate them. I suppose I could have tried loctite.
