I just use Priority Mail flat rate envelopes. Includes tracking and I don't have to hunt down or buy an envelope.

I never have, I just put it in a manila envelop mail it out . I know they received it when my check clears my credit union. no need to spend even more money to mail it as PRIORITY, CERTIFIED MAIL etc,,,,

I mailed mine with the proof of delivery and the return came back blank with no proof of it being delivered

I've always just used regular mail for tax-paid applications. I know they received it when I see they've taken the money.

Off topic from my question but when doing the Form 4 for the silencer at the FFL I also completed a Form 1 for an SBR............he said the Form 4 would probably take 6 months or maybe even a bit more BUT the Form 1 would probably take 2 months tops.

Sounds nuts (not the FFL but one taking over 6 months and the other less than 2 months).

Hopefully the new Administration will do something about these ridiculous wait times.
