I created a efile login a couple of weeks back. I received the "Welcome to ATF's eForms" email.  I tried a couple of times and it worked fine that night. I haven't logged in since. Now, when I try to log in, I get java errors.

Windows 10 64

I've tried logging in using: IE11, Firefox & Windows 10 Edge browser. Same results.

I installed java to the latest. Same results.

Error message:
Unexpected error during login (LoginException), please consult logs for detail

Anyone have any ideas?

That error happens fairly often. You'll just need to wait until they reboot their server probably. Try again later today or tomorrow.

Now I get, "invalid password".

I tried "forgot password". I get, "invalid user name".

I tried "forgot username". I get "Email sent", The email says the user name I tried is correct.

The site has some glitches and bugs, it is not unusual to receive login errors as AlabamaPaul stated. On any day other than a Wednesday, if you receive an "invalid password" error, it's usually because you tried to login, received an error, then tried to submit your login again. The first time the error pops up, if you check the password section, you will notice that it has truncated the data and a shorter version of your password now appears instead. When this happens, and you hit "submit" again, you will receive the password error. Best thing to do is just wait until the following day and try to log in again. On Wednesdays though, they perform a system maintenance which intentionally prevents you from logging in altogether during the duration of the maintenance, so you should not plan to submit any new applications or login on that day.

I was having script errors due to copy/paste of my password and it added a space on the end. It took a long time to figure that out. So if your browser is auto filling the password try to manually enter it

I can't get my trust info to load. I tried last Thursday and just tried again. It lets you go through the steps but then nothing it there. Anybody else having problems uploading?

Try this trick...

Create a .doc file, can simply be blank
Upload the .doc
Upload your trust (assuming a PDF)
Delete the .doc

No idea why, but that's worked for a lot of people that have the same issue.

I have learned that clearing cookies is a must. I clear cookies every time I log in. That seems to solve most of the issues.
