The atf tracker website has a chart that shows a steady, linear increase in approval time. If it were to continue as is (it probably won't), it would intersect and the pass the paper forms. .

maybe someone doesn't want to work themselves out of a job |
| I had trouble Eforms debited my credit card and was unable to hit the submit button and I did not receive a email of payment received. I emailed [email protected]. No word from them yet. If I don't here back I'll do a charge back. |

I was finally able to get the website to function using Google Chrome.
Like I said before...how surprising is it that the website was written so that it would not work with I.E. 9.0 using Windows 7? What were they thinking.....lets make it easier but not too easy? |

LOL you've never worked for the government have you. I've had to dredge through the interwebs to find old versions of I.E. just to be able to do any work on my computer before. Same goes for Java and assorted plugins. |

What were they thinking.....lets make it easier but not too easy? They probably had 10 million to spend for web development. Spent 1 million on eforms, and the other 9 million on the "ATF for kids" page: https://www.atf.gov/kids/ That's my best guess. |

maybe someone doesn't want to work themselves out of a job More likely we're overwhelming them with submissions. As more people learn about ATFOnline and use it, the approvals become slower. The NFA branch IS our friend, and the people there are on our side. |

I am a retired Computer consultant and have worked many contracts for a few of the large defense contractors here in CT. but never directly for the GOV. I can tell you from a systems and programming standpoint it is no accident that the website works the way it does. |
