Hey Guys,

My Form 1s were kicked back from ATF for a couple of reasons (I am submitting as an individual):

"Model verification as engraved--please provide photos of markings and make corrections to forms if necessary"

"Name of Maker missing in 13"

Photos of the engravings?  Is that a new requirement?  Just pics of the ATF-required engraving?  Anyone else have to do this?

Name of maker--above LEO signoff--that is me, correct?

Thanks!

The information provided in section 4 must not match anything ATF has on file, so they want pictorial clarification. As far as section 13, does the name match exactly what is in 3b?

Ok, thanks for the clarification on the pictures, so I will send those in.  I took some pics of the SBR engraving itself (on the front of the magwell); and an oblique of the SBR and manufacturer engraving too--is that what they are looking for?

I accidentally left 13 blank--just use my name in 3b, correct?

Is this an 80% lower? If not, they want the model that was already engraved. They don't care about the SBR markings on the front of the magwell.

Yes, same name as in 3b. Also take note of BigWaylon had to say. If this is not an 80% build, the markings engraved by the manufacturer go in section 4 for manufacturer, model, and serial number. Then you enter the caliber of what you're intending to build...

Got it guys, thanks!  Just never seen that before.

Not an 80% build--a Spikes and BCM lower.

You put "AR15" for the model didn't you?  If so, it's supposed to be the exact model name that sompany designates, ST-15 for a spikes and whatever BCM uses. An AR 15 is an actual model name given to Colt.
