I cannot fill in the new form 1. I have done so on 4 other form1s with the old form, but can't seem to fill in the new Form 1.
Will they take an old one? Will they take a hand-written one? Where do I send it? Martinsburg or Atlanta? I'm confused |

Why can't you fill it out? If you mean the PDF doesn't have fields to type it in, yes you can just print it out and write it. I suspect that's what most people do anyway. It goes to Atlanta, per the top of the new form.
If you mean you aren't sure what the fields mean, here is a website with tips https://www.guntrustlawyer.com/form1 |

I went the old link and filled the old form but the new one won't let me fill it.Dunno why, I'm computer retarded |

Or, and this is a little difficult, print the form, then go to a word doc, guess where the info would land in the form and type it in the word doc, load the printed form into yer printer and see how close you guessed. You'll have to make some changes to get it right, may take a few attempts. Once you have it printing into all the fields properly, save that word doc for whenever you fill out a new form the into will be lined up right, you'll just need to modify it.
Not fast, not efficient, but if your hand writing is like mine, this will look cleaner. I had to do this with a Form 1 I had signed by my Sheriff for a lower I hadn't received yet, and therefor didn't have a serial number entered. After some trial and error I got it placed correctly and printed it onto my signed form. |
