My schedule A has two spaces at the bottom for witness signatures, my guess is they are signed once the NFA item / SN# is added, say at the FFL. There is no space for a notary on this page.

Is this correct? Or does it need to be signed before I sent in the paper work.

Thanks

The schedule A has absolutely no procedural connection to the NFA, so don't try to connect them.

If your state requires a witness for all Schedule A amendments, then someone wil bed to witness and sign when you add an asset to the Schedule A. Sounds strange to me that a witness would be required, but again it might be a state issue.

You don't really want to add an NFA firearm to the schedule A until you have actually taken possession of it.
