I just submitted my first Form 1 for an SBR and I didn't realize until after I submitted the form and was double checking everything that the website chose the wrong county based on my zip code. Is there a way to change this? Or an email address for these types of issues?
I saw there was an "ask the experts" tab on the website, but I didn't know if that would get the issue resolved.. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Was there another option when you entered a ZIP? In some cases there isn't, and people have been told to just roll with it.
You can either use Ask The Experts, or email [email protected], or email [email protected] and ask the question. One way to check if there was an option is to go start a new form and check the dropdown on that screen. If there's no other option, I wouldn't worry about it. |

Thanks for the reply Waylon, I appreciate it. I followed your guide and it was pretty easy to do! I went back and started another Form 1, entered the zip code and it automatically selected the wrong county. It's all grayed out, so there is not an option to select another county. Also, I went to USPS and looked up a four digit code to add to the zip code and went back and tried it too....same thing - automatically grayed out to the wrong county with no alternate selection. I live one street over from the county selected and most of the zip code is in the county selected. I went ahead and sent an email to the "ask the experts" and figure I can send one to [email protected] to see if the reviewer can enter the correct county. Is the ted.clutter email someone involved with E-forms? This is fairly common with E-forms? And do you know if it's the ATF saying it's ok to roll with it? Thanks again! |

I'd there's no other option in the drop down the ATF has consistently said choose what's there and move on.
Ted is helping straighten out EForms issue. If you're disapproved for a system error, you can resubmit and send him the old & new Control Numbers and usually not go to the back of the line. |
