I do realize 41P is not final but I had a question about 41P(in the current format).

Right now I have a few items that are being transferred to my trust. When 41P is passed, will I have to go through the extra paperwork when adding people to my trust or does it only effect new items?

For instance, I have a SBR and I currently only have myself and the beneficiary on my trust. If I add someone after 41P, will I have to get photographs/whatever else in order for someone to use my trusts' items?

From what ive read (nothing is official) it will only affect your future purchases.

Basically if passed every time the trust buys a new item everyone will need to go to the CLEO get approval and finger printed. This will be required for every new item and if even one person can't get approval the trust wont be able to buy the item.

You should be able to add new members to the trust at any point and they wont need sign off or finger prints for past purchases.

They better think this thru! If not, I'm bringing my whole family plus in law side to get finger print and photo. We will coordinate with others so the sheriff office will be crowded.

Since this will also affect corporations ... think about a security company with 1,000 employees. It will definitely be interesting.

Yep, implementation is an expensive nightmare.

^ I'm hoping it just goes away and isn't implemented.

Yeah, expensive (and impossible) for the corps, LLC's and trusts.  The ATF won't care about that.

Gonna load my trust up now, then after the rule change I guess I'll start doing individual transfers.

I'm hearing January 2015 from a suppressor dealer?  Looking for info, as it affects which suppressor we get.

That is the rumour I heard, I told my dealer to start the paperwork for three more cans.

Any references?  January 2015 nixes the Lane Scorpion 458 TTT, as it may arrive in Texas too late for a liberal suburban police chief.

Thanks much.  Looked through several pages in this sub forum and didn't find it.

Would just the current trustee(s) need to go through the fingerprinting or everyone on the trust including successor trustees and beneficiaries?

If the later my wife would have a literal sh!t fit dragging the kids to be fingerprinted at the police station on a quasi regular basis.

I have recently gotten the bug again and submitted several items.   If 41p passes, I may be out of the game for a while until they either loosen the regs or ban them altogether.  I have got enough to keep me occupied for a while, but its going to be tough on the can mfg.   Maybe the hassle will finally make cans an over the counter item, one can always dream.

The whole point of 41P was to make it more difficult.  My understanding is everyone on the trust would have to be fingerprinted.  I hope they decide not to implement 41p.  If it is implemented I hope a lawsuit gets it tossed.

Sadly, Florida has no Shall Sign legislation on the docket.

It has been talked about.  If 41P happens, then the Florida Legislatures will start being lobbied for a "shall sign" law.
