I E-Filed a form 1 for a suppressor. I received the confirmation email and they have charged my credit card. In the "My Forms" section it showed the accepted form. I decided to go back and look at the submitted form to double check it since this is the first one I have ever filed. After I looked at it, a form showed in the "Draft" section. I thought I accidently started another form and clicked on the draft from and deleted it. It also deleted the "pending" form.
Did I just screw up? It shows no saved forms now. Will the form still be processed? Is there any way I can get the form back up? |

You'll be fine.
Read through this thread. Your form is submitted, but will no longer be accessible in EForms. ATF can email you a copy of the Submitted form if you ask, and you'll get an approved or disapproved copy once it's handled by the examiner. A copy you'll need to save somewhere. I don't know if it'll show back up under the Approved branch after the fact. |
Thanks for the quick response, I went back and reread the sticky at the top. I had read that two or three times and followed it step by step while filling out the form but I'll be damned if the warning in the big white box didn't click with me before I hit delete. Well lessoned learned. Hopefully someone else will learn from my mistake.
