| I live in IL far from a free state but none the less we have SBR's for C&R license holders. ATF does not approve form 1's on a trust for IL although some early ones did get approved. I submitted a paper form 1 on July 4, 2013 was pending in September the I called in Dec. and heard the news about no longer approving trusts. I spoke with Ted Clutter about it sent in individual form 1's to replace my paper form from July and 2 eforms I submitted on that same trust which he dissapproved. Then new individual forms arrived Dec. 24 check cashed Dec. 29th the forms which have all been in the system on a trust haven't changed to individual forms yet. I assume they cash check's upon sight as I had to pay for the two cancelled eform's to be resubmitted but how long does it take for that form 1 information to get in the system? It's been 2 months and a few days and still no update they are still listing all 3 forms as a trust with no update to individual? What should I do to find out where the forms are or if they are even in Atlanta for data entry is there a number for Atlanta? I don't want to sit here like an idiot thinking it's gonna be input soon when it could have been lost in the mail all the way from Ted Clutter's office to Atlanta if he cashed the check. What should I do? |
| So I called up today to find the status of my July submitted form 1 on a trust that I re-filled out in individual and sent back to replace the trust form back in Dec. Before I knew about the no trust for IL I called and they told me Jan. early Feb. id get my stamp. So now it's been resubmitted as individual with a approval date in Dec. How is it that I have to wait through to pending stages to get my stamp when I was told I wouldn't lose my place in line. So that will be 17/18 months for approval why am I being fuc*** with on this. I think this is completely unfair. I'm ready to ask for a refund and throw my lowers that I had engraved twice in the river. |
