| A little early? Believe it or not, no. I have an Osprey 45 that went pending March 30. As of August 5 it has been sent to the examiner for final approval with signature expected within 90 days. We shall see if the first week of November holds out. |

I've got a January 28th (sent to the examiner on June 5th) Form 4 pending that I still haven't received...
I've also got a March 5th Form 1 pending that I received a correction letter for on 8/3. Easy fix and they received the correction letter back in WV last Thursday. Seems like the earliest these are going to start coming in is late October or early November. |

The approvals are taking 6 months plus the nearest business day or two and then about 2 weeks until the stamp arrives. |

Examiner - Christina Farris I called about one week prior to the shutdown and was told the form should be approved mid-October. Obviously the shutdown slowed it down, I'm hoping it is approved soon. I haven't bothered calling back, it comes in when it comes in. |

Finally! Damn shutdown delayed me three weeks.
Form 4 mailed: January 31, 2013 Form 4 received: February 2, 2013 Check cashed: Unknown/sent USPS money order Form 4 pending: March 13, 2013 Sent to examiner for approval/signature: July 19, 2013 Form 4 approved: October 23, 2013 Form 4/stamp received: ??? |
 So... I failed in resisting my urge and called today to check the status on my March pending (March 22/ VA/ Mr. Pickles). The guy that answered would only tell me the date it was recieved and that it would be 15 months from that date. I pressed him and he would not divulge any other information. What a croc...

This is going to be the new norm, I asked the gentleman why 15 months and he said it was due to the volume of Forms comming and it was an estimate baised on total backloged and how many they can do per month. Seems like they should hire some more examiners... |

Not to hijack the thread (so please delete MODs if necessary), but the forms are a TAX form. I find it funny how personal information is intercepted in GA when you send your payment/ forms off (received, cashed by a non-gov't employee- "Bank of America"-BOA- employee). I mean, imagine if the millions of Americans who do file their income taxes were subjected to the same treatment. The whole system needs to be overhauled. Who's to say that BOA employee isn't running around stealing PII? Talk about a breach...
Edit:... i guess you really can't complain too loudly though... the squeaky wheel does get the grease..or the AX if its a liberal... Rant complete.
