So I'm yet another poor soul trying to be a law biding citizen yet getting futt bucked by the ATF wording and mind boggling misinformation that appears to be crawling around the internet. If some of the educated form 1 people could provide some clarity to my questions I would be mighty grateful:
First of all I am using a trust. Question 4a: I put my trust name, my city, and my state.............. is this correct? question 4f: My barrel is 10.3 inches (daniel defense), the overall length of the weapon with stock fully extended is 31 inches ...... is that acceptable? (measured with flash hider attached, will remove and remeasure) question 4h: I read on AR15.com recently that this had to be completed so I put my trust name, my city, and my state....... is this correct? I believe I am required to sign: "My name as trustee" I answered questions 10-11 Using a trust, am I done at this point? Thank you for your polite answers to these beat to death questions |

K so now that I got that straight, would I add the lower receiver to my Trust before I send the trust to the ATF or do I wait for it to be approved. Common sense is telling me to do it before. I put the item on the Schedule A. Reason..It was in my possession with a barrel extension on it while I waited on the form to come back. MG and silencer transfers might be a different story here. Leave 4h blank. |

I got delayed for that once, send a note explaining that the item is currently a Title I firearm in your possession. If it was on a Form 4 then you wouldn't add it until you got the approved form back. |
