This is my 2nd transfer in a row to get kicked back because I copied the exact wording from my f3 to f4 . First was a sbs that was listed as 590a1 on the f3 That they approved and was kicked back because it wasn't listed as m590a1 on the f4. Next was a m16 that transferred in on a f3 with and listed as a 16 inch barrel now rejected because it should be a 20 inch.
I wouldn't have a problem with any of the above if it had been a problem on the f3 but it wasn't . I understand the 16 was probably originally manufactured with a 20 inch barrel but why let it slide on a f3 then reject it on the f4 and the sbs I just don't get at all due to it being newly manufactured. That being said. At least the transfers seem to be going faster. |

My SOT told me today that he's been seeing several forms come back, even though the info was copied directly from the previously approved F3 or F4. He said most of his seem to be differences in the model name or number in the registry being different than what's on the form. I had a Mini-Uzi kicked back a few months ago over a conflict in barrel length, as despite two F3 transfers as a Mini since Vector converted it, it was still listed with NFA as full-length. |
| I've had forms kicked back. It seems to me that they are really looking into how all of the guns are listed, and little things that were once over looked, are now being caught. At least you know you are at the top of the pile at this point. They will have a quick turn around from here once you tell them if the item is as listed. |
