[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt AR Lower Recevers ??

I've searched for discussions specific to the latest Colt ARs, but didn't have any luck. Who can tell me the configuration of the lowers? Is Colt still leaving extra material in the lowers to limit use with RDIASs? They use to include those goofy pins when they changed to the blue label rifles back in the early 90s. When I looked at a new Colt 5 or 6 years ago, they were leaving big chunks of metal in the lowers, instead of the pins. Are they still doing this crap?

Also, is there a class 3 forum available for those of us who want to discuss the best lowers for RDIAS, LIghtening Link, etc.
