Called today and after 132 days pending, i was approved today.  Hoprfully the paperwork will make it here to NC this week.  I will then haul ass to my dealer to pick up my M4-2000 and Tirant 9.  Photos hopefully to follow in a copule of days.  Oh I think I was assigned to Christina Farris.  FYI.

You could be waiting a few more months for them to send it.  Don't get your hopes up too high.

That's very rare, you will get your stamp within 2 weeks.

I had a transfer wherein Shipman either lost, didn't mail, or made an origami swan out of my approved F4 (well, it MAY have been lost in mail, but he's known to sit or shit on approved forms).

After two weeks, I had seller call; he was told that ATF would do nothing until after it was 30 days post-approval. At that time it would be considered lost in mail, and seller could send in a request for a replacement copy. He was also told that sending the replacement could/would take up to 30 days...and it did.

Hence, it took us two months after Shipman's approval to actually get the F4. Net/net, this transfer even took a month longer than one from Farris. Blessedly, that's the only time I've had that trouble...stop to think, only transfer with Shipman, too.

I've gotten my last two stamps back exactly 3 days after they were approved, by Pickles.

^ Man, that sucks. It seems we get kicked in the sack at every turn from time to time. Sometimes I wonder if the process is flawed by design to frustrate and deter folks from attempting the process... ????
