I am popping my NFA cherry, and have a question about the trust.

I read that I wait until I get my stamp back then add Item to my trust. Is this correct?

Depends on the situation. Generally speaking, that is true; however, if you are doing a Form 1, let's say on a title I AR-15, you would usually add the AR-15 to the trust, then submit the Form 1.

This.

I added my Form 4 suppressors to my trust after I picked them up. My lower I added to my trust, made my copies and sent it all in with my Form 1.

They will be on form 1s, so I will add them to the trust before I send them in. I have two lowers on order as we speak.

Im sure it has to be typed in and not hand written? With my resources it is difficult to add info to a hard copy.

ok, wait...

If I have a trust and I have an AR that I have personally owned for years that I want to SBR, I have to transfer the lower to the trust before I apply to SBR it, right?

Since both myself and the trust are non-licensed individuals I do not have to do any transfer paperwork, only add it the the Trust's schedule A before submitting to the BATFE, correct?

Just make sure you have something assigned to your trust prior to submitting your paperwork.  $5 bill works fine.

You don't have to, but you can.

Yes, you can transfer a title 1 gun to your trust without paperwork.  You can add it to your schedule A, but again it is not required.
