[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question RE check cashed/pending date

I mailed my paperwork for a suppressor transfer on 7/7. I called and checked yesterday (8/1), and they said I went pending 7/25, with Sara Jones. The hitch is that I called the bank immediately after speaking w/ BATFE, and the check hasn't been presented for payment yet. How is this possible? Should I do something?

if it went pending, they cashed the check

Now they "cash" the check electronically so for most people it shows up in the account differently.

Not necessarily, other members here have had stamps approved before the check was cashed, and some nearly approved before it was cashed.

I wouldn't worry about it though... the .gov doesn't miss a chance to take your money.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've had forms go pending, and had one approved(and delivered), before my check was cashed. Some times the system works in weird ways.

SEI direct connect Vortex 30 cal.

It owes me quick, the Form 3 took over 7 months.

Anyway, the pending date doesn't mean jack, it's only the 'forms recieved' date that counts!

That was fast, but it might make the wait seem even longer... thinking so far it's moving through the process really fast, only to slow to a stop after it went Pending.

My Pending went fast with her too. Check cashed the 28th of June, Pending the 7th of July....

It DOES make the wait seem worse, lol, figure the pending to approved is going to take 5 months. :(
