Need some additional help from the group.
I have a form 4 that is pending with Suzanne Santamarie and was just informed by the transferor that there was a problem with my paperwork. when I had my lawyer draft my trust, he asked me what I wanted the trust named as. I told him xxxx family gun trust, that is how I filled out the paperwork and sent it in. I didn't realize that the first page of my trust said revocable trust of my name and the last page of the trust along with schedule A say, xxxx family gun trust. I tried calling Ms. Santamarie, but she is out of the office until Mon. The paperwork that came back said that I needed to cross out the incorrect info on the form 4 and fill in the info with the revocable trust of my name on it. what i'm wonder is, can I just resend in the first page of my trust with the correction of xxxx family gun trust, or should I wait until Mon. and call Ms. Santamarie at that time asking if I could send in the correction. I don't have a problem with renaming the trust, but I set this trust up just for the sole purpose of my gun collection and would prefer the name of the trust to say xxxx family gun trust. | She sent my form 1 back because I put "xxx Trust" and she says it should be "xxx revocable living trust". No big deal, I retyped the form 1 and sent 2 copies back with the originals she sent me. She stamped my new edited copy, and thats what I wanted so it didn't look sloppy. I wrote a letter stating that. Anyway, she is reading the first page of the trust and seeing what it says, and she just wants the exact name of it. Good luck getting ahold of her. I tried for almost 2 weeks and never got her, just her answering machine, so I just said F it and sent it in. It got approved 2 days after she got it. |
