So I submitted a pair of F4's back in November for a suppressor. This was my first time in dealing with anything NFA related. Fast forward to March and I receive a letter back from my examiner (Sandra Snook) asking for new fingerprint cards. The text said "Improperly taken fingerprints. Carefully follow instructions on the back of FD-258 fingerprint card. Please submit a new set of cards". Maybe the prints were too smudged or something?
How big of a setback is this and will my application be sent to the bottom of the pile? Re-taking and resubmitting new fingerprints isn't that big of a deal but I will be deploying for 12 months in early fall and I was hoping to pick up my new toy this summer before I left. |

Who did the fingerprinting for you? Are your fingerprints wrinkled or worn? First time i did mine the Police Dept Criminalist also gave me a copy of a letter stating that my (technical lengo) bla bla were worn and these were the best possible prints. They did go through.Someone told me about useing Corn Huskers lotion.I tryed it on my last prints and they came out great. I put the stuff on a few minutes before i went in to get fingerprinted.anyway... |
