I am about to have my receiver engraved and i have a question for the group.
The lower was engraved by the original manufacturer as MULTI CAL.      Would i be violating any rules or laws if I engrave a specific caliber along with my name and location??   I have no intention of changing caliber on this particular rifle so im not concerned about limiting myself to the one caliber.  (The caliber i want to have engraved is the one which i listed on the Form 1)

I dont think it matters. I wouldnt bother. Only info required is your personal info.

No issues.  It wouldn't limit you to the one caliber either.  There are plenty of AR lowers out there marked as .223 and/or 5.56mm that are in other calibers.
