Yeah that's along the lines of what I'm looking for. I want a 7.5" to shoot a .22 conversion with. I started at the back of the pics thread and went through 11 pages without finding anything so I gave up.

I have a Genuine Jan 1989 DPMS Kitty Kat A2 upper on an Olympic Arms AR-15 lower with std rifle stock and 7oz rifle length buffer...

Im waiting on my form 1 and am in the process of building a 10.5" in 5.56, a 11.5" in 5.56, and a 11.5" in 6.5 Grendel... But this will give you an idea of what yours will look like.
