They ask for your length of your SBR on the form 1 but without having all your parts your just approximate right.I guess ya just put what is your best guess on it?
If i measure my 16 inch RRA from end od extended buttstock to about where i think the end of the threaded part of a 10.5 barrel would be i come up with 28 3/4 inches.Should i put 28 3/4 inch or what? |
| I would think that's fine, I don't think they are to picky +/- a little bit....to measure a barrel, is from the closed bolt face to the muzzle, not including any muzzle device and the bolt does lock inside the barrel extension there for you can measure to the takedown pin and add the barrel length |

So front of pin is correct.... |

So front of pin is correct.... correct.... the barrel extension is just an extension not part of the barrel, I know it's a little confusing, I was the same way with my first you must have a very long buttstock
ETA: once you get your stamp and assemble your SBR and measure your exact length and your off a bit you can always write BATFE and amend your form but it is not necessary, besides you'll most likely get other uppers in various length for it anyway and change the configuration which is acceptable also |
