I plan on going up to a buddy of mines uncles cottage in VT this winter and bring up my MAC since the cottage is on a large lot of land and we usually go shooting up there.  My question is that no one knows the house # including his uncle since they never mail anything to it they only know the Street, town, zip, phone # will they reject my form with a lack of house #?

The guy doesn't have a deed or anything with the address on it?

I don't know the answer to your question though, sorry.

Can you do a reverse search by the phone #? If it's a listed #, this usually works. google.com or whitepages.com

You do not need a street address. I've seen .20s approved with a highway number and mile marker listed.

Try this approach: If the cottage caught on fire and the uncle called 911, how would they identify the cottage to direct the responding firefighters to the blaze?

I just got off the phone with BATF regarding basically the same question.  The examiner (who's name I didn't get) told me that if there is no real street address ie......(Shooting range out in the middle of nowhere) to find the closest Farm-to-Market (FM) road or addy that is close to it and put that down.  Also, he said you can put "and various other locations throughout the state"  that, he said "Will give you blanket coverage in the state"

Hope this helps.
