Hey Guys -

I have attempted to order the required finger print cards from the Order Forms section of the ATF website. I tried to order a few almost a month ago and did not receive anything. I also tried to order again last week and still have no received anything. Are they just taking a long time to get them out, or would it make more sense to just call them and order them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your local police station will have the FBI cards on-hand with their ORI number, it doesnt matter if you use those or the NFA ones as you can white-out or stick a blank address label over the ORI section and write-in the NFA branch's info.

I'll send the PM shortly.

I'm sorry to hear that they got kicked back on you...that really sucks!

I may still call the ATF and get a bunch of them since I plan on needing a few more of the in the future.

Where in CO are you? I have some cards and am in Littleton. I can mail them or you can meet me someplace.

Exactly why were they kicked back? How did you cover the original ORI and how did you mark NFA's ORI?

came back saying incorrect  form  on the checklist they sent back. covered with folder label then printed on that. just as i was told i could do.   some say they have done it and worked . all it did for me was waste  almost 3 months. by no means am i an expert on nfa transfers   this is just what happened to me and trying to save someone a headache.

Would the local office have these cards in stock? I havent been waiting very long for mine but I would rather not wait 2 months for some cards just to get started.

WOW that's funny well not really funny but   I've done 4 stamps with with the ORI changed and they all went through. I also called before I did it and that's what they told me to do. To bad on the wasted time.

I placed an order for some finger print cards on the ATF website at the beginning of April and just received them yesterday.  2 months to get them.  I ordered 10, which should last me a while.

With the cards, they included a "document order form" which they say will expedite the process next time.

I had called the NFA with a question and asked the lady about the cards.  She said she had some and would mail them out today for me.  I don't know how long it will take, but I am hopeful.

I have three cards from them with a REV.5-11-99 date.  They still good?

I want to reg. two SBR's and would need one more..... wonder if I could use one of the PDs to supplement the 4th.

I ordered my cards from the website about a month ago and still have not seen them.
It will probably be about half a year till the whole sbr project is done .
