[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SBW

I have a Bushmaster Carbon 15 Pistol; I want to add a stock and register as a SBW. By what I have read I can do this, although a bit confusing. Upon registering do I have to engrave my info on the reciever? I have my ATF F1 packet completed and would like to have it back by the time I redeploy in Feb; just want some expert advice before I mail it.
