So, I called ATF today and they told me that my Form 1 was approved on 10/8, and that I sould be getting my stuff in the mail shortly. I was surprised because I accidentaly sent in a two-page Form 1 ( at least that's what I remember, maybe I did send in a 1 pager) that I was sure would be returned or not approved. So, I was all smiley   . Then I held my horses up  !! I figured that maybe it went approved status, but that I would get stuff back saying that I will receive the tax stamp when I get the Sheriff's signature on a new one-page, double-sided Form 1 and send it back to ATF for approval  . Is that how it works? |

Maybe your examiner found a glue-stick and did you a favor. If its sent back, instead of getting a new CLEO signature, play around with a copier until you're sure you'll get it right, and photocopy page 1 onto the back of page 2. No new CLEO signature required. Kharn |

My guess is that you're approved, but you'll get teh check sheet in the mail asking you to mail in corrected forms in along with the sheet sent directly back to your examiner. I had a friend that sent in a Form 4 during his first MG purchase in 07 and they were both separate pages. He got the check sheet in the mail advising to correct the situation. We got the signatures on the 4/11, mailed 4/12. Approved 4/16. |
