Allright this is my scenario. I live in WA state. All we can have are DD's, AOW's and cans. I think i might be moving to a completely free state within the next few years and i want to start building an NFA collection NOW in SD which is a free state. Can i establish a trust with myself and another trustee in another state and buy NFA items and store them in that state until i move to a free state that i can transfer them too? I read about 30 pages of the trust thread and my eyes hurt, and no where did i see anything about this type of situation, (trustees who live in different states). I am aware of the whole rule about only trustees having access to the NFA items. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. CJG |
