I have been searching for 3 days. I apologize as this is obviously covered somewhere but I can not figure out how/which form to fill out for a registered SBR.

The SBR will be an asset of an S-Corp. Can somebody point me to directions on properly filling out and which form to fill out for an SBR?

Thanks in advance and I apologize in advance for the obvious dupe. It took me 2 weeks alone to determine if the corporation could even have an ABR in NC.

If the S-Corp is making it, then a Form 1. If they are buying it, use a Form 4. You will also need the Citizenship certification form.

Form 4 boxes:

2a: Transferee's name is Corp name and address
2b: County where Corp address is
13 & 14: Answer them as yourself
15: Use the S-Corp name, reason for purchase, then sign your name

Let the FFL fill out the rest

Form 1 is similar:

1a: Check this box
2: Check "Corporation or other Business Entity"
3a: S-Corp name
3b: S-Corp name and address
3c: self-explanatory
3d: County name
3e: Your phone number
4a through g: Description of what the S-Corp is building
7: answer as yourself
9: Your signature
10: Print your name and title in Corp
11: Date it

THANK YOU!

I am buying a stripped lower from Anvil with the proper markings. So I guess the Corp is making it. I will obviously only assemble after I receive the stamp back.

Is it OK to posess the stripped lower with the SBR marks before I have the stamp?

Thanks again!

Not a problem at all. It's actually recommended that you have the engraving done prior to submitting the NFA Paperwork, since it will be easier to rectify any possible errors that way.
