My store has a post sample AK74, which is a full size rifle. My boss would like it to be a Krinkov. What is the process, on the legal side, for such a conversion? Thank you.

I would ASSUME it would be the same for modding any other NFA firearm. Notify the ATF of the change in bbl. length and OAL.

Is there a specific form to file, or do we just mail in a letter contain the pertinent details?

There is no form for this. Just mail a letter to BATFE/W.Va. with the new length spex.
