That is pretty funny. Sorry I usually don't post in this area. I'm just getting into the class III stuff and when I found this it didn't look right. So it's legal to have the paddle and template? The paddle is not considered the link?

Personally I would rather have a quality, RELIABLE semi auto "when the comet hits" than a lightning link or DIAS gun.

For fun LL's and DIAS's are a reasonable way to go but the reliability and durability is no where near close to being good enough to be counted on for real life combat use.

As far as a licensed manufacturer using one of those parts from the ad, why? They were almost $90 for the parts and still required machining to make them work. All a licensed manufacturer needs to do is buy a "regular" AR lower, (for $100) and spend about 20 minutes with a milling machine and they can have a "real" M16 and use a "real sear", not a flimsy LL.
