Over the last few months, I've been planning on getting a Benelli M4.  Recently, Benelli decided "No collapsible stocks for j00!" and overnight prices on the stocks (Gunbroker, etc) went from $190 to $1k ...  yesterday I saw a post over on the benelli boards saying that Benelli isn't selling the stocks to civilian class 1 dealers anymore, but are selling to class 3 dealers.

Anyone here know how much BS this is or what kind of restrictions on resale there would be if it was true?   Really don't want the stock on my new shotty to cost as much as the gun itself did.

See what these guys can do for you. They sell non-restricted items to the public.

It has to do with the new non sporting foreign shotgun ban, I can tell you that.  Benelli told me at the NRA show they would not and could not import them any more due to that.

New non-sporting import shotgun ban?  Where did I miss the memo on that?

ETA: I knew about the whole "Thou shalt not have more than X evil features  on an import without Y US made parts" deal, bullshit as it is... just curious what "new" crap has come down the pipe.
