| What is the form that I need if I want to change the barrel length on an existing SBR? I know I can own another upper if I keep my original configuration, but I would like to get another barrel length put on the lower receiver if possible. |

I went through this process a litle over a year ago - There is no form. Submit a formal request in writing to BATFE NFA Branch requesting a change in the registry to reflect the various barrel lengths you would like to use on your registered SBR. They will respond (eventually) in writing stating that the registry has been updated per your request. I wouldn't hurt to include a copy of your stamp with your letter. It took 6-7 weeks for me to receive a response. Good luck, Jeff |
