a)  Would the following weapon fall under the NFA, and if so, what category?

A magazine fed pistol with two barrels side by side that fired simultaneously with a single trigger pull.  In other words - one trigger, one sear linked to two firing pins and two barrels - but no continuous fire if you hold down the trigger.

b)  Are AOW pistol gripped shotguns worth anything in a practical sense?  I can see how they would be fun but is it possible to actually use them effectively as a defensive arm, say within 15 yards?

c)  Would a Russian Nagant revolver be a good silencer host?  How well does the cylinder movement form an effective gas seal?  I know the surplus ammo is at least subsonic.
