I have multiple forms to send off.  I have two for SBR's, one for an AOW, and one for a suppressor.  Would it be best to send the BATF four checks or just put this all on one bill?  Also, along the same lines, should all this go into one envelope or all separate.

Thanks for the help.

hello. ALWAYS send seperate checks paperclipped to the appropiate forms! also, write the serial number of the item to transfer on the check that it goes to. this way, you have a system to check on the progress. also unlikely that 4 checks could get lost.  you can also send multiple forms in one envelope, as long as they are supposed to go to the same address. kirk

Put it all on one check.  I've sent multiple forms several times -- when doing so you only need one check, one set of prints, one compliance form, all in one envelope.

I am in NO WAY an expert, but I sent two form 1's off last week and I sent them seperately.   For less than $1 (postal stamps) it's not worth the gamble.  It is not going to break you to write multiple checks.   The BATF reviewer that gets it will have less trouble with seperate forms/checks I would think.   Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I have done.

(edit:  after reading the post above, I guess if you are registering stuff as an individual, it would be easier to combine)

Guys,

Thanks for the replies.  It looks like there is more than one way to skin this cat.  It seems that either way will work (together or separate).

I was not aware that I could use just one set of prints.  That would save me some $$ as it cost me $20.00 last time (for two cards).  Does anyone else have experience sending mulitple forms and only one set of prints?

Thanks again.

Just send one check and one envelope.
