I ordered some 9mm magazines and they were the wrong type for my Mac 10-A1 (Stephensville Tx marked as well as a Cobray stamp). With the 45 upper I use Grease gun magazines. The 9mm upper came with one mag that seems to be a sten gun magazine with a drop in mag well spacer. Is this a normal configuration?? Thanks, Joe I guess it does take Sten 9MM mags. Took one to the gun show today and matched it up with a Sten Mag. The dealer had a box full at $8.00ea used but good condition. I said "how much for the Sten Magazines", he said "what". I told him sorry, I meant Sten clips. |
I'm going to post pics here of the two mags I bought with the Mac. I've fired the 9MM so I know it works well. I'll let you tell me what it is and if you need more pics just let me know, thanks Joe

the one on the left looks like a sten mag modified a little. I got my sten mags from tac inovations for $2.50 ea +s&h . |
thats a wheatley modified sten mag, that works in his dual caliber kits/sten adaptor dual cal kit  also not sure if you know this or not...if your mac looks like the one below (normal selector, cobray stamp inside milled ring) it's a SWD re-work that takes SWD parts not TX specific parts
