I found one guy in my state that is a Class III, but he wants a $200 transfer fee, is this about the goin' rate?

(thats on top of the $200 for the Gub'ment)

That sounds about right to me. My guy charges me $150.00 but I think I heard him say $200.00 for non regulars

Damn! I am going to get Dave Burgess some beer next time I go.  He charges $75!  Only a little higher if you have a really expensive piece coming through.

My local range charges:

Non-Members
Class I : $30
Class III: $100

Members ($150 first yr, $100 following years)
Class I: $20
Class III: $75

I've used two different SOT's in TX.  Both charged $50 for titleII transfers of items you order from someone else, and nothing if it's something they have in stock.  A third one I talked to quoted $100 for a transfer, but I didn't end up using him.

Depends on what I buy from my dealer. Stuff he has in stock, no charge. Transfers from out of state can run from about 100 to 150 depending on what it is.
