I just bought a cheep Endoscope off ebay for $9.50. I got it in and hooked up to my phone and found the software didnt work, so I bought an app off google play for .99 and it works great.

I bought a 5.5 scope so it will fit my 22 caliber rifles and up. I used it on my  mosin nagants today and found my Pu sniper didnt have real strong lands but no pitting and the others look good.

I then tried it on a few other rifles and pistols and I can see the copper in the bore as well as "patch trash"  so for a total investment of $10.50 i can really see in my firearms and not have to use the old bore light.

it will  be great to take with you when looking for used guns just imagine the face of the dealer when you pull this out and look in the barrel.

I bought one, too, and have played with it a little but not down rifle bores yet.  I really want to check the bores on my Sniders.

You know I was just thinking about getting one of these the other day for this exact purpose. Good to hear it actually works.

Eta: What brand did you buy and what app?
