I was putting away our shipment of mosins today, and found a mosin with a much shorter trigger in length, and wider from front to back; is it something done with refurbs? Or is something they did with different models? Sorry for the lack of photos, ill try to get some photos up when i get my photobucket account up, thanks all.

Crude wartime production trigger.

Not rare or uncommon.

Is this what you're talking about ?

I have a few with both kinds of triggers. I don't even notice the difference when shooting.

Like was said, not rare or uncommon. They do look a little on the ugly side, though.
