Just got this Roma M91 this week. Show me your Carcanos!

Very nice!

I've been looking for a 6.5 Carbine for a while now.  All the ones I see at shows are beat up or bubba'd to death.

I will get my hands on one though.

No kidding! I've seen dozens and dozens of Carcanos at local shows, all of them ranging from "trainwreck" to "sporterized trainwreck". Rustbuckets, missing parts, you name it, not a one in decent shape.

When I saw this one I snagged it quickly.

I started out buying a Carcano as a novelty but quickly grew to love them (mainly as a bunch of old mil surplus ammo was thrown in with it, so I was able to enjoy the proper accuracy of the cartridge before I started reloading for it).

Currently I have 3 carbines and 1 rifle, all 6.5, though I'd love to find a non-bubba'd 7.35. Sadly all the LGS has is a hacked up one for far more than the remaining parts are worth

I've got a few. 91 long rifles are surprisingly hard to find in decent shape.

Nice stock on that one, looks refinished but they did a nice job, most are Beech like the handguard .

My 91 LR is a 1918 Roma, OR-T 6569, matching bolt and stock.

My 1891 Carcano is on the bottom.

My TS 7.35 Carcano is in there somewhere...

I don't have a pic of my M41 Carcano.

I have a M91/28TS built by Berretta in their plant at Gardone Val Trompia in 1931. I'll post some pics when I get home.

Home, here's the pic
